What is Ladybird Recruitment?

We are the only online self-managed Recruitment Platform providing permanent staffing solutions for Early Years Settings. Our Specialist Platform gives Childcare Providers the control in sourcing their own qualified staff, whilst having the peace of mind that candidates are screened and of the highest calibre. Job seekers can search for relevant employers, apply for jobs or be headhunted. 

How to create a profile?

Complete the registration form to create an individual or company profile. Registration is totally free. An individual profile will be very similar to your CV.

Is my personal information safe?

YES! We do not sell your personal data to any third party. The information we ask for is required only for providing the service. Your profile can only be seen by employers who are also registered members. 
Our messaging system that employers use to contact candidates is private and secure, members do not have to disclose their email address and phone number.
We comply with the Data Protection principles and take members security very seriously. Data Protection Registration No: ZA199197

I haven’t received my account activation email?

When you complete our registration we send you an account activation email to the email address provided. You must click the link in the email to activate your account, this is how we confirm your email address. If you don’t get the account activation email, please check your junk or spam folder.
If you don’t click on the link then your registration will not be completed, so it is important that you do. 

What documents do I need to submit when registering?

In order to comply with the REC code of professional practise and Home Office guidelines you MUST attach and submit your 
  • Relevant Qualification Certificates.
  • Photo ID – Acceptable documents include a valid Passport or Driver’s License or Residence Card. 
  • Proof of address – Utility or Bank statement or HMRC/ DWP Letter.
  • Evidence of right to work– Visa or Residence card or Home Office document.
  • Provide 2 contactable references {Referees will only be contacted once interview has been arranged}

Why isn’t my profile showing?

Once you have registered and created a profile, one of our recruitment specialist will review and approve your registration within 48hours. 
Your registration won’t get approved if all required documents has not been attached on the registration and/or you have not clicked on the confirmation email sent to you.

Why isn’t my photo showing?

We only accept photos of individual candidate or a company logo. Photos of children or any other person included in the photo will not be accepted.

Am not looking for work, can I still register?

Yes, if you’re not actively looking for work but would still like employers to contact you about suitable vacancies then you should register. On your profile you can indicate to say whether or not you’re available and actively looking for work.

When will you contact my referees? 

Your referees will be contacted once you have made arrangements to attend an interview. Referees will be contacted by email. Two references must be provided.

How do I hide my profile?

If you have successfully found work and would like to keep your account active but would like your profile removed from the site then you can hide your account by going into your account setting. Once your account has been hidden you can reactivate it at any time by going back into your account setting. 

How do I close my account?

You can close your account at any time by going into your account setting. 

How do I cancel my membership subscription?

You can cancel your membership subscription at any time before the next payment is due. If you cancel your subscription, you will still be able to use the remaining time before it expire.   To cancel your subscription simply log into your account and go to subscription.
